The Premiere Episode | My Testimony through the lens of Isaiah 43:1
“But now thus says the LORD,
he who created you, O Jacob,
he who formed you, O Israel:
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by name, you are mine.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.
For I am the LORD your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.
I give Egypt as your ransom,
Cush and Seba in exchange for you.
Because you are precious in my eyes,
and honored, and I love you,
I give men in return for you,
peoples in exchange for your life. ”
Hosted by Kim Chiong, a daughter of the Most High God, she kicks off the "PreciousHonoredLoved" podcast by sharing her testimony through the lens of Isaiah 43:1-4, her life verse, where the title of this podcast was also derived from.
Kim talks about the calling that God had placed in her life and the prophecies spoken over her from years ago to testify about God's love, goodness, redemption, and restoration power. She talks about her testimony about how God moved in her life (what the enemy has meant for evil, God had meant it for good). Her hope is that by the end of this episode, the listeners will know that despite our own brokenness, God still wants His children to respond and act upon His call to share the Gospel. God still saves and redeems His people from whatever pit they are in. Most importantly, our identity and sense of self are rooted in what Jesus Christ had done on the cross:
We are deeply loved. We are chosen and predestined to be an object of His love. We are not mistakes or accidents. God sees us and we are actually precious in His eyes. God honors us. And loves us. He loved us then, he loves us now, and He will love us to the very end.
